Hi! I hope your holidays were wonderful! I have had a full house with kiddos home for the holidays, but I've loved it! I want to share with you this yummy easy green onion cheese ball recipe that I made for my family for Christmas snacking! It was absolutely divine!
I created this recipe for Christmas this year, but it is definitely going on the list of my favorite recipes! It's perfect for any party (think New Year's Eve or Superbowl parties)! My oldest daughter and I inhaled most of this amazing cheese ball with a variety of crackers!

2 green onions, finely chopped
20 slices of thinly-sliced salami, chopped (I used Columbus Italian Dry Salami)
1 cup of grated sharp cheddar cheese
Making this cheese ball is so easy! It takes just minutes! Just be sure to soften the cream cheese on the counter for an hour or two ahead of time! It's the perfect New Year's Eve party recipe or to use for any gathering of family or friends!
How to Make Green Onion Cheese Ball with Salami and Cheddar Cheese
Place the two blocks of cream cheese, diced green onions, chopped salami, and grated cheddar cheese in your Kitchen Aid mixer (do you have one? I absolutely love mine!).
Turn the mixer on low and blend well.
Periodically stop the mixer to scrape the sides of the mixing bowl with a silicone spatula to be sure the green onions, chopped salami, and grated cheddar cheese are mixed in evenly.
When it is mixed well, form the mixture into a ball and place it on a serving platter.
Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
When ready to serve, I like to add a nice variety of crackers to make the tray look extra inviting! Some of my favorite crackers to serve are Town House Pita Crackers, and Town House Pretzel Flip Sides.
